Lenahan's Legacy_edited.jpg

WHO IS CAMP DIRECTOR, TIM LENAHAN?

Tim Lenahan is a legend in Big Ten and college coaching circles having become the only coach in Big Ten history to accumulate both 300 wins and to coach 20 years in the Big Ten.  After taking over a winless Northwestern program in 2001, Coach Lenahan built the Wildcats into a national power winning three Big Ten Championships while taking Northwestern to two Elite Eights and four Sweet Sixteen appearances.    In his career, his teams went to 15 NCAA Tournaments and he is a 10-time Coach of the Year recipient.  He stepped down from Northwestern as the all-time winningest coach in school history in 2021.  He has his USSF “A” License and United Soccer Coaches Premier Diploma.

As the Director of the College Soccer Training Center since 2001, Coach Lenahan has helped hundreds of players fulfill their dream of playing college soccer.  He is recognized as having one of the greatest coaching “trees’ in college soccer history having former assistants go on to becoming head coach at 17 different colleges, including 10 Division I schools.  One former assistant coach, Jesse Marsch, now coaches at Red Bull Leipzig in the Bundesliga and a former player, Santiago Solari, has coached at Real Madrid and now coaches at Club America in Mexico City.  Solari is the only college player in history to win the Champions League having done so with Real Madrid in 2002.

Coach Lenahan is excited to partner with ID Sports USA to continue the great tradition of the College Soccer Training Center in helping high school aged players realize their goal of playing college soccer.

What Others Are Saying:

"The ID Sports showcase was one of the most beneficial experiences my daughter has ever had from a recruiting standpoint. After hearing about her time at the event I wouldn’t send her anywhere else. She came home from the event raving about how she got to play in front all of the schools she was interested in. She also received a handwritten note from her top school with positive feedback. Not only that, she heard from 3-4 other schools just a few days after the event."

— Adam T. NY

"I sent my son to two ID Sports events this past year and would highly recommend it to any parents that are looking for relatively low-cost options for soccer recruiting. These days we find it difficult to find events like this, and being able to be seen by a large quantity of schools is something that interested us."
